Above the village of Termeno (Tramin), near the Kastelaz Path and the famous St. James in Kastelaz Church, a popular highlight has been waiting for mountain bikers since 2007: the Termeno MTB Technique Course, which offers three levels of difficulty.
The "easy" course is blue, but easy is not the right word: it is technically easy, but the downhill ride is steep and features some difficult sections. The red course, however, leads over some bridges in the form of tree trunks, and the black one includes also several jumps. The obstacles were realised in harmony with nature and the surrounding rock faces.
The courses overcome 60 metres of altitude difference down into the valley. And how to reach the Termeno MTB Technique Course? From the Wine Road the street turns left uphill, first to the junction towards the St. James Church, then left again towards the Kastelaz Path. After the last houses, the Bannwald forest path continues for 1 km to the "Bikepark Tramin" sign.
