Caldaro and Termeno are good starting points for day tours to the several skiing areas in the surroundings

The winter brings peace and quiet to the area of Lake Caldaro. Several skiing areas in the surroundings are within easy reach by car, and also the lake itself represents a popular destination for families. If it freezes over and the layer of ice is thick enough – usually around the turn of the year – you can play hockey or just go for a skate.
