Tennis

Stay active in your holidays by playing an exciting tennis match in Caldaro or Termeno.

Caldaro is the hometown of Andreas Seppi, tennis pro since 2002 and the first Italian tennis player to win a tennis tournament played on grass (Eastbourne 2011) and tournaments such as the ones of Belgrade and Moscow in 2012. His best result in the ATP ranking: 18th in January 2013. Here in Caldaro, this ball game is very popular - the tennis facility of the Caldaro Tennis Club is located in the sports zone of the Castelvecchio Forest, near the Forest Adventure Park.

Five sand courts, a hard court, a covered hard court, a gym and a training wall are available. Every year in summer, the Caldaro Tennis Club (Tennis Club Kaltern) organises a varied programme for children from 4 years of age, the so-called "tennis holidays". Furthermore, tennis courses for adults and kids are on offer. In winter two sand courts are covered by an air hall.

Also Termeno features its own club, the Termeno Amateur Tennis Club (Amateur Tennis Club Tramin), which was founded in 1970. Three sand courts with flood light and a training wall can be found at the Termeno sports ground, near the sport & adventure pool. Also a club house with a bar is part of the facility, which is often used for training visits and tennis camps.
