Swimming pool LIDO in Caldaro

In 2006, the popular bathing establishment LIDO was inaugurated in San Giuseppe al Lago (St. Josef am See). Already the sophisticated architecture of the facility, realised by the architect Ernst Fuchs from Vienna, is worth a visit. The beach pool at the lakeside is a pleasure both for locals and guests, moreover there are a children's pool, a sports pool and a large lawn for sunbathing.

The facility also offers a wooden walkway with direct access to the lake, a whirlpool, a rain room, a a mysterious underground grotto and a playground as well as a beach-volleyball field. The kiosk, a restaurant and a paddle boat rental complete the offer. By the way: the building of the former swimming pool was integrated into the new LIDO, in order to maintain the original flair.
