“Hochparterre Salotto” Gallery

Besides the "Gefängnis Le Carceri" Gallery, just a few minutes away, Caldaro offers a second art gallery and event location: the "Hochparterre Salotto" Gallery at the Piazza del Mercato (Market Square), which in recent years was redesigned by the local architect Walter Angonese. Events range from exhibitions of amateur painters and hobby photographers to thematic exhibitions including model railway.

And how to reach the "Hochparterre Salotto" Gallery ("Hochparterre" means mezzanine floor in German language, whereas "Salotto" is the Italian word for lounge)? The "Forum Cassa di Risparmio" can be found at the Piazza del Mercato square no. 7 in Caldaro village (Kaltern Dorf), on the upper floors of the Cassa di Risparmio bank building.
