The shooting range of Termeno village (Tramin Dorf), located in Via Tiro a Segno no. 10, was founded in 1855 by the community physician and mayor Alexander von Keller. Nowadays the facility is also known for its eponymous restaurant with pizzeria, called 'Schießstand', and is one of four remaining shooting ranges in South Tyrol which still organises the traditional 120 m small-bore free shooting.

The historical annual small-bore shooting was renamed 'Josefi Fest- und Freischießen' in 1951. Still today it is held every year at the weekends between the beginning of March and the beginning of April.

Sport shooting is also practised in Caldaro. The air rifle range is open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 pm to 9 pm.
