A small but mighty cinema is the jewel of the club of the “Filmtreff Kaltern”.

It is located at the entrance of the village and is surrounded by numerous parking spaces. This is one of numerous positive aspects of the new cinema located in the area of the former station.

Film and cinema is that important for the inhabitants of Caldaro that they have been trying hard to have their own cinema for a long period of time. The old cinema has been closed a long time ago and for a certain period the films were shown in the cultural centre of the village. It was high time to establish a real, new cinema for the inhabitants and guests of Caldaro. So from now the movies are shown by means of the latest cinema techniques, the whole year round.

Of course also Bolzano offers several larger cinemas such as the Cineplexx and Capitol cinemas, offering movies of every type and also in two languages.
