In Caldaro, there are several people who love the arts of playing theatre.

Playing people’s theatres, that is a really popular leisure time activity in Caldaro. There are two main theatre companies that alternate in performing, above all in the period of Carnival the companies provide entertainment for adults and children. The actors of Caldaro prefer comedies, rarely do they perform tragedies or tragic theatre performances.

Beside the two theatre companies, there are also a children’s theatre group that is called „Innenseite“. This company is performing from October to June.

International theatre performances are offered every year at the stage at lake Caldaro, where theatres and musicals are performed open air in summer months, in July and August.
