An interesting initiative - not only for wine experts and wine lovers - is the WinePass, which is included in the room rate in the participating accommodations along the South Tyrolean Wine Road. This exclusive advantage card invites to explore the Wine Road and the whole of South Tyrol.
The WinePass enables the free use of all means of public transport between the Brennero Pass and Trento, including the Mendola Funicular and the Renon Railway. Furthermore it offers many more benefits, making you explore the beauty of South Tyrol in a more economical way:
More than 40 wine experiences along the South Tyrolean Wine Road, such as guided tours in the Termeno Winery or walks through the vineyards in Caldaro, are half price. In addition, there’s free entry to approx. 90 museums, exhibitions and castles in South Tyrol, including the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology with Oetzi the Iceman and the Messner Mountain Museums, and 50% discount on swimming pools and recreational activities such as river boating and minigolf.
