Termeno Autumn Days

The popular “Toerggele Days” on the Termeno fairground take place between the end of September and the beginning of October

Every year during the grape harvest, when the leaves of the vines change colour and the "Nuier", the new wine, can be tasted, Termeno prepares itself for its Autumn Days. A whole weekend on the fairground in the village centre is dedicated to the autumn delights.

Beside culinary delicacies, roasted chestnuts called "Keschtn" and sweet krapfen, there are also exquisite wines of the Termeno wineries, performances of folk dance groups and live music. The new wine can be tasted between the beautiful wooden stands which are lushly decorated with a huge grapevine, an apple crown, the Saltner - a traditional, but real character which watched over the vineyards - and various ancient items of viticulture.

In order to make everyone join in the celebrations, a shuttle service from Caldaro and Cortaccia is organised. By the way: only a few weeks later, the well-known "Termeno Wine Lane" takes place, which offers the excellent wines of Termeno, roasted chestnuts and poppy seed krapfen.
