Together with your hiking guide, you will set off on an exciting journey through time, accompanied by sweeping views over the South Tyrolean Lowlands.
Can stones speak? You don’t believe it? Then let yourself be surprised during our hike and discover new impressions along the way.
Along a pleasantly ascending path through open woodland, you will walk over and through impressive traces of millions of years of geological history. Fire, magma, and above all mighty glaciers have shaped our valley over millions of years. During an entertaining short explanation, we will show you why the last 20,000 years in particular have given our landscape the fertile finishing touch we benefit from today.
After our break at Gasthof Caroline in Graun, where there is also the option of enjoying some refreshments on the panoramic terrace, we continue our circular hike along a somewhat steeper woodland path. This section requires sure-footedness and some hiking experience. Alternatively, we can decide at the beginning of the hike to use public transport for the return journey.
Those who would like to extend the hike from Kurtatsch can continue with Petra along the level Kastelaz Trail all the way to Tramin.
