The best places to enjoy a fabulous view

Castelvecchio is located slightly apart in the forest. Behind the church of the little village there is a great viewpoint from which you can see the entire area round lake Caldaro. Right next to this place there is the wonderful Castelvecchio forest.
Our tip: combine the viewpoint with an excursion to the popular Rastenbach gorge and a visit to San Pietro ruin!

Who knows the "Schnaps road"? It proceeds parallel to the South Tyrolean Wine Road and connects Termeno/Rungg with Cortaccia, the next village in Oltradige. This road is perfect to go for a walk and enjoy the great view. Always at the end of the "Schnaps road" there is a village centre where you can stop for a bite to eat or go shopping.
