Car-free day on the road to Passo Mendola

For one day the road to Passo Mendola is closed for motorized vehicles.

If you love cycling you should note down September 19, as this is the day the Road to Passo Mendola is closed for motorized vehicles and YOUR chance to climb Passo Mendola without traffic. From 9 to 4.30 pm you have time to scale the road leading up to Passo Mendola on your bike, and of course you can even do that on foot. :-)

However, the road is closed from the crossing at Pianizza di Sopra, the course is 13 km long and features an altitude difference of 860 m. On the occasion of this event there is also a varied fringe programme including culinary delights and free tickets for the Mendola funicular. Be sure, there’s something for everyone. The car-free day on Passo Mendola is organised by local associations of Caldaro.
