7th Gewürztraminer Symposium

Termeno and its Gewürztraminer, a couple which belongs together.

Also this year the famous „Gewürztraminer Symposium“ takes place, from July 9 to 11 in Termeno.
The Gewürztraminer wine might be familiar to everyone who has once been to South Tyrol. This wine has become famous all over the world and is highly estimated. And a glass of good wine is a real must at every celebration…
The international Gewürztraminer Symposium has become a platform for all those who produce this type of wine. Every two years they meet in Termeno in order to discuss and to compare the Gewürztraminer wines.
Seminars, tastings and culinary highlights are part of the programme.. enjoy the symposium.

Thursday, July 9
> 5 – 10 pm: South Tyrolean Gewürztraminer and specialities based on apples
> 7 pm: Official inauguration of the symposium

Friday, July 10
> 3 pm: Viticulture in Russia – a vinegrowing region and its Gewürztraminer
> 8 pm: Typical Russian evening combined with Gewürztraminer wines

Saturday, July 11
> 9.30 am: Globe “Internationale Gewürztraminer” with Aldo Sohm
> 12 pm: Cultural culinary wine journey across Termeno
> 8 pm: closing event in the gardens of Rechtenthal Castle
