4th Caldaro Half Marathon

Again in April there will be the famous Caldaro Half Marathon round Lake Caldaro.

Preparations for this event are in full swing and also registrations become more and more from one day to the next. On April 5, 2009, once again the Caldaro Half Marathon takes place. “On your marks, get set, go!”
In the course of time, the half marathon has become a really popular event, not only in Caldaro. The idea for the Half Marathon was born in 2006 and this year the association “Südtiroler Laufverein Sparkasse” organises this event for the 4th time.

Athletes have to run twice round the lake and this course has officially been confirmed by the Italian Athletics Association with 21.097 km. Start and finish are located at the restaurant “Gretl am See”. Every 5 km the athletes have the possibility to get a drink.
Runners who think the course of the half marathon might be too long for them can try running on the 10,550 m long course. As you might notice, there is something for every taste!

> 3 - 6 pm: Late registration/assignment of start numbers

Sunday, April 5, 2009
> from 7.30 - 8.30 am: Late registration/assignment of start numbers
> at 9.50 am: start of half marathon for hand bikers
> at 10 am: start half marathon runners
> from 12: party
> 2 pm: award ceremony
