Water temperature of lake Caldaro

The warmest lake for bathing in the Alps is a real pleasure for all those who love splashing around snd swimming

Due to the fact that lake Caldaro is not really deep, already in spring this lake features a temperature of about 17° to 19° C, whereas in high summer water temperatures might even rise to 28°C. Also the air temperature round the lake is about 10° C higher than in neighbouring mountain areas.

These conditions are also favourable for those who love windsurfing, as already at the end of April water temperature rises to about 13° C. The warm lake as well as the southern “Ora” wind, coming from lake Garda around midday, make you feel like enjoying a day under the open sky.

So if you decide to pass your spring holidays in Caldaro, you should not forget to bring your swimming trunks! :-)
