Both the natural scenery and temperature are evidence of the gentle climate south of the Alps

The regions of Oltradige and Bassa Atesina boast a mild climate, which allows for colourful vines, rich green cypresses, palms, lemon trees and Mediterranean herbs. Every day from March to September at exactly 1 pm, the Ora - a gentle wind coming from Lake Garda - blows across the region.

With more than 200 sunny days a year, the region also features a rather hot summer. And when temperature reaches 35°C, you can enjoy refreshing moments in the local lakes or take the local cable car and reach higher and thus cooler altitudes on the near-by Mendola Mountain.

Winter is the ideal time for relaxing walks along the shores of the close-by lakes and across the local fields and meadows. And the lakes turn into huge natural ice rinks!
